Potential Hazards - Fire

• The product contains a highly flammable solvent with a flash point of 6 Degrees Celsius.
   
• This is the temperature at which the solvent component gives off sufficient vapor to form an ignitable mixture with the air at or near the surface of the wet paint.
   
• Ignition of the vapor may occur as a result of contact with sources of ignition such as cigarettes, lighters, naked flames, static discharges and unprotected non-flameproof electrical equipment.
   
• The former three are considered to be potentially dangerous ignition sources.
   
• The hazard is minimized if these are absent from the work place and that the ventilation is good.
